Hi, my name is Jason Quinn I am a full time PhD student currently enrolled in Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin). In 2019 I applied for and was awarded an Irish Research Council, Government of Ireland Scholarship for my research. In 2016 I received a B.A. double honours in History and Sociology from Maynooth University. In 2017 I received my M.A. in Sociology (Internet and Society) where I was awarded the Coffey Memorial Prize for best performance in the M.A. in Sociology. I then went on to tutor in Global Society and The Sociology of Everyday Life for Maynooth before joining TU Dublin. My research interests include surveillance, security, political sociology, critical theory, continental philosophy and digital landscapes. When writing I like to listen to Burial, MF DOOM, David Bowie and The Clash.
